My Cook Kit

The other day some discussion on Google + about cook kits got a few us talking.  I thought it was time to show what I am currently using.  I know that I tinker a lot with gear, but this cook kit seems to be the go to kit and really the only thing that changes out is the Imusa mug and Snow peak 700.  They are interchangeable in my cook kit.

    For several years I’ve been watching for a “bowl” with lid that is somewhere in between the 2 cup and 4 cup Ziploc screw top container. I found one a couple weeks ago at Target which is in the style of the 2 cup Ziploc container, but it is a 3.5 cup by Glad. The lid seals about as well as the Ziploc container. Weight with lid is 2.9oz. Hopefully this will help somebody.

  2. Thanks for the video, it’s always nice to see what others pack. I’m a propane canister and lightweight pot guy myself, but when with the Troop we always take Whisperlites.
