Sunday Coffee – Folgers Breakfast Blend

Well, it’s Sunday, so I’m sharing another reader suggested coffee.  This week it’s the Folders Fresh Breaks Breakfast Blend.
I found this coffee to be tasty and easy.  It comes in the little single serving packets that do not take up space in the pack and the price is pretty good.  About $4 for 8 servings.
We also talk a bit about my first aid kit.
Teresa joins me out in the yard for a cup of coco.

Have a Great Scouting Day!

  1. Allan Green says:

Jerry, This segment was special because we got a glimpse of Mrs. “Scoutmaster Jerry”. She obviously is shy in front of the camera, as shown by the speed in which she exited when she realized she was being taped. But if she is anything like my wife, she is a treasure because she sees something in scouting that brings purpose to the life of her man, something that gets you vitalized and invigorated. She allows you to “get away”, into the woods, for a purpose higher than your own self, that she does not or can not be involved in. I applaud her, and hope that you can bring all these benefits you receive back to her and the home of both of you.

As for the coffee, I recommend a french press. Starbucks makes a travel cup that is also a french press, big enough to make 1 1/2 cups of coffee. I get the SAMS brand of coffee beans (any whole beans will do), grind them the day before a camping trip, and use the press at camp. Although bulky, it makes a good cup of coffee.
