  1. Just listened to #94 and all I can say is keep up the good work. Even if you only help one Scout or adult, it is worth it. You can’t always be interesting to all people, so keep the focus on the one you are looking to help. Even when you just talk to the Scouts, it lets them know that we actually listen to what they say.

Who am I? Just another adult who has been doing this for several years. And as for anoying someone; my wife will tell you I have been anoying her for 36 years. She too is active in scouts. This weekend I am on a buisness trip and she was one of the adults that went on the Camporee.

I look forward to your thoughts and ideas on hammock camping. I used one for a time while in the service and on one or two Scout campouts, but not in years. I see them used on the AT by through hikers and keep tinking about investing in two. If I get one my wife will want one for herself.

Keep up the good work and send on those ideas. I don’t use every one, but I agree with most.

    • Jerry,

I find your podcasts valuable. I have been an adult leader in boy scouts for just 2 years. I attended one of you classes at the program and training conference. I find listening to other experienced leaders frames my thoughts and actions in scouting.

I heard a lot of heartache from the last podcast. You need to do what you enjoy and what brings you enthusiasm. If you do continue, know that I will be listening and learning.

      • I don’t know about heartache.. but there was certainly a lot on the mind and a hope that the podcast would survive.. and it will thanks to the amzing feedback I have received on the last couple weeks.
It is nice to know that the podcast is making a difference.
        Thanks for the comment.
